How do I Appoint Assured Care Solutions as my Plan Management provider?
To appoint us as your Plan Management provider, you or your Support Coordinator will need to endorse the change. We cannot do this ourselves. This is part of a standard intake process that ensures everything is properly in place before we begin managing your plan.
Does it cost me anything to be Plan Managed?
No. If you have Plan Management in your NDIS Plan, then there is no direct cost to you as a participant.
How do my NDIS bills get paid?
Once you have appointed Assured Care Solutions as your Plan Manager, all invoices from your service providers can be sent to us for payment through the NDIS Portal. We ensure that all invoices sent match the supports outlined in your NDIS Plan and monitor your NDIS funding on your behalf.
Can I use providers that are not registed with the NDIS if I am Plan Managed?
Yes. If you choose to be Plan Managed by Assured Care, you can include services from providers registered with the NDIS and/or providers with a current Australian ABN. Unregistered providers will still need to adhere to the NDIS price guide.
How do I know if I'm keeping within my NDIS allocated budget?
We continually track and monitor your spending of allocated funds in your approved NDIS budget and assist you to maximise any remaining funds so you can get the most out of your budget.
If I have an existing Plan Manager can I change before my plan is finished?
Yes. All you need to do is contact your existing Plan Manager to tell them you want to end the arrangement with them and then contact us and we will arrange the rest. Please note all providers will have different notice periods and this can usually be found in your service agreement.
