Support Services We Can Provide
We provide a full range of Supported Independent Living Services which include but are not limited to:

How do I know if I'm eligible to receive funded Supported Independent Living (SIL) services?
Supported Independent Living is funded under Core Supports – Assistance with Daily Life in your NDIS plan.
Eligibility for NDIS funding for Supported Independent Living is determined at your NDIS Plan Review meeting or Home and Living Budget.
What type of support do SIL support workers provide?
Your Assured Care SIL support worker can assist with a variety of different tasks depending on your need. This includes:
- cooking and cleaning
- all aspects of personal care
- daily routines
- shopping
- money and budgeting
- medication management
- transport to appointments
- catching public transport
- social skills
and much more
Do I have a say in who I live with in shared accommodation?
While we must operate within the constraints of the NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) funding models, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure you are happy with the people you live with in shared accommodation.
Will I be included in household decisions if I live in a shared accommodation?
Yes! It’s your home. You are included in all household routines and decision.
If I have an existing Supported Independent Living Provider, can I change before my plan is finished?
Yes. All you need to do is contact your existing service provider to tell them you want to end the arrangement with them and then contact us and we will arrange the rest. Please note all providers will have different notice periods and this can usually be found in your service agreement.
